How do I make a reservation?
You or your Distinguished/Dog can give us a call at 323 464 PETS. If we can’t understand your dog, then you need to get on the phone and let our staff know when your pet would like to check in, or you both can stop by from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week.
What stuff do I need to make a reservation?
Prior to setting up an appointment for a temperament test, D Pet Hotels will verify the vaccination record from your veterinarian. We also need to have on file a credit card at the time of booking.
What vaccinations do you need for D Pet Hotels?
D Pet Hotels requires three vaccinations for our WOOF guests: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given or has lapsed in validity, it needs to be administered at least 5 days prior to your pet’s stay. Proof of vaccines must be submitted to us prior to your arrival. Your veterinarian can easily fax these to our reservations office at 323 464 DOGS. Dog is free from fleas – pets will be inspected upon check-in and if fleas are noticed on pet a mandatory flee bath will be required at owner/guardian’s expense. Guest has not recently been exposed to any transmissible illness in the past 30 days prior to check-in.
Dog has had his/her yearly fecal check.
Can I bring my dog’s bed and blanket?
D Pet Hotels is a luxury pet hotel that offers nothing but the finest for the love of your life. All varieties of suites are suitable for the most Distinguished/Dog around. If Fluffy does enjoy his special blankie, you can bring it in; just make sure it’s not super small.
What is included in the daily rate?
For our pint-sized Distinguished/Dogs we have recess from 7 to 7. For our mid and gargantuan Distinguished/Dogs we have recess in the big space from 7 to 7. D Pet Hotels offers three separate areas for our different sized babies. We want your love muffin to scarf down what their used to at home, so we recommend to bring in their normal diet…whether it’s the dry stuff, or if they love having their chicken breast and rice…our staff will make sure their tummy’s are full. If we need to go to the grocery store, it will be an extra fee. But, nothing is too good for a Distinguished/Dog!
How about car service?
D Pet Hotels is at your beck and call. Our staff will come by the house or work and whisk away your pup to doggie wonderland…just let us know where we need to go, and we’ll let you know how much it will be.
What’s in the SPA?
Who wouldn’t want to look extra special after a long absence from our loved ones? We offer nothing but the finest grooming at D Pet Hotels SPA. No amount of pampering is too much for our best friends. Plus, if your little one has gained an extra few…you can set up some time for your pup to enjoy one on one time with our trainer in PANT. PANT offers state of the art doggie treadmills for those ones who have eaten just a few too many Scooby snacks!
How about giving my pet their medicine?
Sure! D Pet Hotels staff will give your pup their meds to keep them in tip top shape at no extra charge.
Does my pet need to pass an interview in order to be accepted at D Pet Hotels?
When you first check in to D Pet Hotels, our staff goes through some basic info that will help us know what your pet’s likes and dislikes are. Then, while you are watching through a window, we introduce your pup to a few other like-minded pups, and see how they interact. Now…they are officially in the know! Watch the fun begin!
My female dog is in heat. Can she stay?
Yes. A female in heat tends to stress out the boys, so she will stay in her Princess Palace, and not enter recess. A little extra clean up is a must, so an extra $50 will be added to the per night rate.
Do you let intact males into D Pet Hotels?
Yup. These boys have a lot of extra mojo, so they will have a little extra special time together with our staff. They will be on a different schedule than our regular hotel guests, and enter recess while the other pups are enjoying their gourmet meals. An extra $35 will be added to the per night rate.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We know sometimes plans change, so as long as you give us 24 hours notice…you’ll be in the clear. For peak holiday times, there is a non-refundable $50 charge at the time of booking, and if at least 5 days notice is not given, then we will charge a 1 night room rate.
When are you guys around?
There is D staff on premises 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. D Pet hotels is open for business from 7am to 7pm daily.
What if my baby needs to see the doctor?
D Pet Hotel staff are always on their toes looking out for changes in behavior. If need be, the owner is contacted immediately, and the pet is taken to our veterinarian on call.
